Gregory Filler comes to us with an incredible professional dancing, choreography and teaching background. You’ve seen Gregory perform in the 1988, 2000, & 2002 Olympic opening ceremonies; in musicals including, but not limited to Grease, 42nd Street and Starlight Express; including Imagine, at the Luxor, Liberty on the street and most recently 5 international touring companies of Tap Dogs. He’s performed in numerous industrials and special events for such clients as Audi, Nuit Du Tennis, Wella Balsam, American Express, T.V. Guide, Promise Hotel Corp and Compaq. Gregory has also performed in Germany on television specials including “Wetten Das” and “The Sports Gala Award”. Mr. Fillers’ choreography background is just as extensive and impressive as his professional background. He’s choreographed “The John Hancock Tour of Olympic World Champions” on television for ABC/NBC prime Time and “Rock and Roll Gymnastics” on ESPN. Gregory’s work has been seen here in Las Vegas from “Spellbound” at Harrah’s to the “Sky Parade” at the Rio. His other choreographic credits include “Liberty in the Street” and “Hot Tickets” for Jean Ann Ryan Productions and over 10 years of shows for Norwegian, Celebrity, Crystal and Royal Carribbean Cruise Lines. Gregory has also worked with such well known artists as Harry Connick Jr, Desi Arnaz Jr. and LeAnne Rimes. Gregory was the Casting Director for BEST Agency for 3 years (2007-2010) which is Las Vegas’ premier modeling and talent agency.
Gregory is currently on faculty for over 10 national conventions including Dance Educators of America, Triple Threat, Thunderstruck Dance Productions and Hall of Fame Dance – just to name a few. Gregory is also an Entertainment Manager for Caesars / Harrah’s Entertainment. Our amazing “tap guy” Gregory is looking forward to sharing his abundance of professional talents with the Studio One’s Summerlin Dance Academy students and we are overjoyed to have him help develop our tap program into one that is second to none.
