Laurie Bellueme moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles nineteen years ago. Being that her father was a Hollywood character actor, Laurie began her dance training with Hollywood veteran, Betty Garret. At the early age of twelve, Laurie was accepted into Burbank’s first Romantic Classical Ballet Company, founded by Miss Patrice McCoy, who herself trained with the great Russian stars Alexandra Danilova, Bronslava Nijinska and Theodore Koslov and America’s first Prima Ballerina, Nana Gollner.
Miss Bellueme’s repertoire includes such classics as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty. In addition, she has performed in musical theater throughout Los Angeles with the Pat Carney Dance Troupe. Pat was a student of the legendary Bob Fosse.
Laurie specializes in teaching Ballet, Tap, and Tumble to young children ages 2 to 6 years old. Laurie believes in combining imaginitive play with new terminology related to dance.
Laurie has been teching in Las Vegas for the past twelve years.
